Why we created Azola Academy

Over 80% of CEOs don’t trust marketers.  That’s not to say they don’t like marketers, or believe they need to do marketing  - it's that they don’t always have a clear understanding of the financial impact marketing is making on their business growth.

The issue is partly due to how marketer’s do business.  Over 63% of marketers don’t provide financial impact in their marketing reports.

It's not enough for marketers to just report numbers to their executive team; they need to communicate the significance of those numbers with transparency and clarity.

In doing this, they create a stronger partnership between CEOs and Marketers that fosters better trust and collaboration, ultimately leading to greater business success.

The goal in our mission is to help marketer’s showcase their financial impact so they can be recognized and rewarded for their efforts.

ABOUT GREG DAVIS

Greg Davis, the Founder and Executive Creative Director of Azola Creative, dedicated the first half of his professional journey to the music industry. During this time, he seized valuable opportunities to collaborate with renowned international recording artists, including Blessed Union of Souls and Toni Braxton. He also contributed to the soundtrack of the 2000 motion picture, Pokémon: The Movie. As an artist, he achieved a remarkable #5 ranking on the CMJ charts, which are the college radio equivalent of the Billboard charts. Amidst this success, he realized his passion and aptitude for marketing, igniting a desire to pursue this new path.

Subsequently, Greg ventured into the E-Commerce industry, a pivotal decision that significantly shaped his distinctive approach to product marketing, benefitting clients to this day. Within E-Commerce, every channel is finely tuned to drive sales, and Greg was fortunate to gain comprehensive knowledge of E-Commerce workflows while working with esteemed employers such as Solid Cactus, Web.com, and eBay Inc.

With expanding experience came increased leadership responsibilities. Greg spearheaded B2B corporate marketing teams, orchestrating cross-enterprise initiatives that elevated product awareness and boosted sales, employing the same principles he acquired in E-Commerce.

In 2018, he established Azola Creative with the vision of assisting clients in converting their products into robust sales engines, leveraging proven marketing tactics, tools, and product launch strategies.
